In 20 years…what am I saying, 21 years! you may know that we have kept ourselves rather busy here at Bush Ways, and have designed quite a nice variety of ways of exploring the Botswana bush: different levels of mobile safaris, camping or accommodated, then lodges, and a guest house.

They all have in common: a focus on the experience, a willingness to offer affordable high quality safari experiences, a deep understanding of what it takes to make a successful safari, a passion for the bush and for sharing our knowledge with those who do not have the chance to live with this pristine nature as a neighbour, and of course, the Bush Ways touch!

With this in mind, we have tried to cater for a variety of traveling preferences and the range of our services allows to offer options for a variety of tastes.

Often, travelers would choose one type of travel experience among them. BUT you may want a little taste of everything. You know how some restaurants give you the possibility to order a tasting platter to sample a little bit of everything on the menu? You might not be aware of it, but you could do the same with your Bush Ways safaris.

Here is an example:

If you want to see a variety of places, and try out a variety of ways to stay in and explore Botswana, they could:

• Arrive in Maun early afternoon, chill and enjoy a good night sleep, well deserved after your flight;
• Start the adventure camping Kalahari Safari, taking you first to the doorstep of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve for a nature introduction with the San Bushmen before exploring the largest Botswana game reserve for 4 days, coming back to Maun for a night on 21 February;
• Transfer to Khwai on 22 February by road or with a light aircraft and stay 3 nights at Khwai Guest House, enjoying the fantastic wildlife experience offered by Moremi and Khwai, on game drives and mokoros, and getting introduced to the daily lives of a small rural community set amongst one of the most fantastic wilderness areas of Botswana;
• Fly up to Chobe and spend 3 nights at Chobe Elephant Camp, taking full advantage of the vantage point onto the Chobe floodplain, continuing their bush exploration across the Chobe National Park, leisurely cruising on the Chobe river while observing a variety of wildlife less accessible by road, encountering the communities of the Chobe enclave and enjoying the stunning comfort of our rustic & stylish lodge.
• You may want to add a night or two in Livingstone or Victoria Falls before flying back home to admire the “smoke that thunders”.
