The profession of a guide is still more or less known as a men’s world. You need to be strong, you have to read the behaviour of animals, you have to protect people – all qualities that are well known for men. But this is not completely true, women as well can do this job, we are now living in a very modern and advanced world where also ladies can become guides…

So, let’s start where we left off in our last Bush Ways’ User guide post. You had opened our website homepage, www.bushways.com, your mouse was on the main menu, the little arrow placed on top “Our Safaris”, and the words, “Adventure Camping”, “Premium Camping” and “Accommodated” had appeared.
You have been thinking for a while about going on safari to Botswana. Maybe you have recently watched a documentary on television. Maybe a friend just came back from safari and can’t stop talking about it. Maybe just the words “safari” and “Botswana” have always made your head swirl.
I have always considered that one starts traveling as soon as one starts planning and preparing for a trip. There is something unique and utterly thrilling in getting ready for “the great unknown” which is definitely part of the journey.
Nowadays, it can seem quite easy to get all the necessary traveling information, since everything one needs to know is usually only a mouse-click away, but the task tends to quickly become frustrating and disconcerting as very often the vast amount of sources implies conflicting information along with the difficulty to figure out what really needs to be known and done among the ocean of tips and advice…and we certainly wouldn’t want you to sink before launching.
